Wexford Capital Partners, LLC was formed in 2004 by J. Brady Wilkins. Brady has been actively involved in the Houston commercial real estate investment, development, marketing and financing industry for the past 20 years, and has been involved in transactions totaling over $1 billion. From October 1997 until November 2004, Brady was Vice President of Caldwell Watson Real Estate Group, a commercial real estate investment, development and brokerage firm based in Northwest Houston. At Caldwell Watson, Brady’s responsibilities included identifying investment properties, financial structuring, securing equity and debt, investment analysis and disposition of investment properties. Since 1997, Brady has been directly responsible for identifying and negotiating the acquisition of over $60 million, and handled
the disposition of over $100 million, of income properties and speculative land tracts in Houston. Additionally, he has secured equity and debt totaling $80 million for the acquisition or development of over 1.5 million square feet of office, industrial and retail space and over 300 acres of speculative land for private equity investment ventures.
Prior to joining Caldwell Watson, Brady held asset management positions with American General Financial Group, First Interstate Bancorp and Hall Financial Group. Brady has earned both the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designations, and is also actively involved in several other industry organizations, including the Greater Houston Partnership's Certified Property Program. Brady is also a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
Brady was born in Metairie, Louisiana and raised in El Campo, Texas. He graduated from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. Brady, his wife, Dee Dee, and their three sons live in Northwest Houston.
